Card Payment Security Policy

1. Encrypted transmission

The entire MSeller site and the payment page are served only over HTTPS with TLS encryption (version 1.2 or higher). The data you send is encrypted between your browser and our servers or the payment processor's servers.

2. Processing by a PCI DSS certified acquirer

In the Dominican Republic, card payments are processed through Azul, an acquirer certified under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Your card details (number, expiration date and security code) are entered directly on the processor's secure payment page.

MSeller does not receive, process or store your full card number or its security code (CVV/CVC). We only keep the information the processor returns to identify the payment, such as the card brand, its last 4 digits, the amount, the date and the authorization number.

3. 3-D Secure authentication

Card payments use 3-D Secure, the card networks' authentication protocol: Visa Secure (formerly Verified by Visa) for Visa cards and Mastercard ID Check (Identity Check) for Mastercard cards. Your issuing bank may ask you to confirm the purchase with a one-time code, its app or another method, protecting your card against unauthorized use.

4. We will never ask for your card details

MSeller will never ask for your full card number, expiration date or security code by email, phone, WhatsApp, SMS or social media. If you receive such a request, do not reply and report it.

5. Recommendations

Check that the browser address starts with https:// and shows the padlock before entering your details, avoid paying from untrusted public devices or networks, and review your card statement regularly.

6. Report a problem

If you suspect unauthorized use of your card on MSeller, contact your issuing bank immediately and email us at hello@mseller.app or call 809-563-2073.
